Sejarah
Pada awalnya TOA Corp didirikan oleh Mr. Tsunetaro Nakatani pada tahun 1934 dengan nama TOA Electronic Manufacturing Company. Pada saat itu TOA sudah dapat memproduksi pengeras suara dan
microfon. Pada tahun 1945 pabrik TOA hancur akibat serangan udara, tetapi pada tahun berikutnya TOA indonesiapindah ke kota Tokushima dan pada tahun 1947 kembali lagi ke kota Kobe yang kembali beroperasi dalam sebuah ruangan di dalam Rumah Sakit Kobe. Pada tanggal 20 April 1949 perusahaan TOA berganti nama menjadi TOA Corporation sampai sekarang, dengan bermodalkan Y500.000 dan 12 pekerja, Nakatani membangun ulang perusahaannya. Pada tahun 1954, untuk pertama kalinya di dunia, TOA memproduksi megafon elektrik yang ternama sampai sekarang. Setelah itu peralatan buatan TOA banyak di pakai di Jepang, seperti pada Olimpiade di Jepang, peralatan TOA di pakai di 31 lokasi olimpiade berlangsung. Pada tahun-tahun berikutnya TOA kembali berinovasi dengan banyak memproduksi peralatan-peralatan teknologi komunikasi, seperti wireless amplifier, mikrofon, speaker, dsb. Mulai pada tahun 1973-an perusahaan TOA melebarkan sayapnya ke mancanegara, seperti Jerman, Amerika Serikat, Inggris, Afrika Selatan, Taiwan, Kanada, dan juga Indonesia.
